I was reading Bob Lonsberry today I love his daily columns and his daily surveys. Usually he talks about politics but today wrote about sledding with his daughter. She will have great memories from that day. It made me think of one of the fondest memories that I have from childhood, family prayer. When we were young our Father would tell us stories of his childhood before family prayer every night. My dad was a little trouble maker, we would just laugh an laugh. The stories of the cow patty fights and the dog named Daisy. I look back at those moments and smile, because in those moments Dad was ours. He belonged just to us. He gave us a part of himself those nights. My Mother had a hard time getting us to settle down for prayer because we all had the giggles. Think about 5 little girls with the giggles. Those are the kind of Moments that you cherish.
